Lobby Hours & Other Requirements:

  • Monday - Saturday: 8:00am to 5:30pm
  • Sunday: 3:30pm to 5:30pm
  • All out of hours services will be charged $50.00 per pet.
  • Closed to the public on the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Closed at noon on Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
  • Rest assured your pet is still receiving the same quality of care. By closing our front desk, each of our staff gets to spend a few hours with their family and friends at some point during the holiday.
  • If you have a true emergency, Please call our customer service coordinator (412) 289-2554 to arrange an emergency check-in or check out.
  • Proof of current vaccinations are required before pet enters the resort. Please email, drop off, fax or mail veterinary records prior to arrival.
  • All services require a reservation, please make reservations well in advance of all major holidays and spring and summer vacation times
  • Please abide by the 10mph posted speed on Winterfield Road. It is privately owned and local residents take no prisoners, in regards to speeding.

Lodging Rates Are Calculated As Follows:

  • Lodging charges include Day of Arrival through and including Day of Departure.
  • Minimum charge is for two (2) days.
  • Holiday periods: Minimum charge is for three (3) days.
  • Please allow your pet time to settle into their vacation and allow them to start playing with their new friends by bringing them in earlier in the day (before 4:00 pm) on arrival day
  • Give us time on departure day (after 11:00 am) to make sure they are clean and fresh- smelling for your reunion. If you requested grooming services, call for pickup time. All services include a clean bed, blankets and dishes.
  • No large beds or blankets accepted or stored, only clean small towel sized bedding
  • Please bring your pet’s own food, to avoid digestive upsets. (Only as much as needed). We will supply food if you forget or don’t bring enough. Meals are $1.50 per meal
  • Washable toys and treats are welcome, but please no rawhide.

Grooming Policy and Procedures:

  • All Dogs must have current DHL-PP, Rabies and Bordetella vaccination information on file prior to entering the resort for grooming or other services. (Cats must have Rabies)
  • All pets will be treated with kindness, patience and compassion in a clean, safe environment

Dog Camp Policy and Procedures:

  • Dog Camp is available Monday – Saturday, 8am to 5:30 pm, except major Holidays. Reservations are required at least 24 hours in advance (before 5pm the day before). Cancellations or no shows with less than 24 hour notice will be charged full fees.noon
  • All Dogs must have current DHL-PP, Rabies and Bordetella vaccination information on file prior to entering the resort. CIV is strongly recommend for all camp dogs. Camp dogs MUST be free of all internal and external parasites.
  • Dogs must be evaluated and have a completed, current and approved application on file before admission.
  • Dogs may be returned to owner with some mud and slobbers or be wet from being rinsed off or playing in rain or snow. Dogs may get scratched or nicks from playing with the other dogs or not watching where they are going when playing.
  • Each dog undergoes constant evaluations as to suitability to be part of the camp program. (Evaluation is good for 30 days, if not attending regularly)
  • Dogs must be in good physical health and free of any condition that could potentially jeopardize them or other campers.
  • Dogs must be over 3 months of age, and spayed/ neutered if over 7 months.
  • Dogs must know basic obedience commands- sit, down, come when called, walk on a leash, leave it, and stay.
  • Must not be Toy or Food aggressive. Must not be protective of people or other dogs
  • Owner must certify that dog has not harmed or shown any aggression for any reason towards other dogs, humans or other animals.
  • Some dogs outgrow the desire to attend camp and other dogs develop traits that make them unsafe in the camp environment. If a dog should not be in the camp program, we have other programs that may be more suitable. A senior staff member will discuss options with owner as needed.

Obedience Training Policy and Procedures:

  • Classes currently offered are; AKC Puppy STAR, Canine Good Citizen, private behavioral sessions with owner, Lodge & Learn boarding packages, and Jump Start day programs
  • All Dogs must have current DHL-PP, Rabies and Bordetella vaccination information on file prior to entering the resort.
  • Registration, payment and in-take form are required prior to first class.
  • Severely aggressive dogs are not permitted into group classes until evaluated by trainer, in private behavioral session(s) with owner, and deemed safe.
  • Owner should be prepared with sturdy shoes, jacket, long pants
  • Bring treats and water for your dog and yourself to each class
