All out of hours services will be charged $50.00 per pet.
Closed to the public on the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Closed at noon on Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
Rest assured your pet is still receiving the same quality of care. Closing our front desk, allows each of our staff to spend a few hours with their family and friends at some point during the holiday.
If you have a true emergency, Please call our customer service coordinator (412) 289-2554 to arrange an emergency check-in or check out. Please be aware that there is a $50.00 out of hours charge per pet
Proof of current vaccinations are required before pet enters the resort. Please include on reservation form, fax or e-mail veterinary records prior to arrival.
Please make reservations on line from the website. whenever possible and well in advance of all major holidays and spring and summer vacation times. On line reservations allow us to spend more time with our guests and avoid mistakes in transferring information into our computer system
Please abide by the 10mph posted speed on Winterfield Road. Some of the driveway and parking lot has been blacktopped. We would prefer to not install multiple speed bumps, but the speed limit must be adhered to as children, pets, and other animals are in the area. Lack of respect for our neighbors may cause the denial of services.
Lodging charges include Day of Arrival through and including Day of Departure.
Minimum charge is for two (2) days.
Holiday periods: Minimum charge is for three (3) days.
Give us time on departure day (after 11:00 am) to make sure they are clean and fresh- smelling for your reunion. If you requested grooming services, we will call or text you, when grooming services are completed.
Please allow your pet time to settle into their vacation and allow them to start playing with their new friends by bringing them in earlier in the day (before 4:00 pm) on arrival day
What to bring:
Your pet with a properly fitted flat collar with current license and short leash
Please bring your pet’s own food, to avoid digestive upsets. (Only as much as needed, in individualized zip locked bags, no open bags).
We will supply food if you forget or don’t bring enough. Meals are $1.50 per meal
Treats if your pet gets them on regular basis- in a closed, labeled container. (No Rawhide)
Required Medications in original container with veterinary prescription and directions
Copy of required current vaccination certificates (we prefer that these are attached website reservation form or emailed)
What not to bring:
Blankets, beds, towels or personal clothing items (each pet has a comfortable bed that is easily cleaned and flea free)
Large bags or large containers of food
Food dishes from home (we use sanitary, unbreakable stainless steel dishes)
Toys (we have lots of interesting washable toys and playground equipment to entertain our guests)
No harnesses or retractable leads
No crates (Each pet has their own personal room with comfy bed)
Misc. bags suitcases etc. (We are very limited on storage space for belongings.)
48 Hour Cancellation Notice - Please contact us at least 48 hours prior to your appointment if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
Late Arrivals - Arriving 15 minutes after scheduled arrival time will forfeit your appointment or move your pet to the end of the schedule for the day depending on the groomers’ schedule.
All Dogs must have current DHL-PP, Rabies and Bordetella vaccination information on file prior to entering the resort for grooming or other services. (Cats must have Rabies)
A No Show, late Cancellation, or Late Arrival will require a non-refundable prepayment for grooming services before next appointment will be scheduled.
All pets will be treated with kindness, patience and compassion in a clean, safe, friendly environment. Matted pets may have more hair removed than expected. Our groomers will not subject pets to long hours of painful de-matting.
Pets should be groomed at least every 4 to 8 weeks. Schedule their next grooming appointment when picking up from each grooming session to keep your pet on the correct grooming schedule.
Dog Camp drop off time is 7:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. Pickup time is 3:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Reservations are required by at least NOON the day before the requested camp session. Cancellations or no shows with less than 24 hours notice (12 p.m.) in advance will be charged the full rate for the day.
All Dogs must have current DHL-PP, Rabies and Bordetella vaccination information on file prior to entering the resort. CIV is strongly recommend for all camp dogs.
Camp dogs MUST be free of all internal and external parasites.
Dogs must be evaluated and have a completed, current and approved application on file before participation in camp program
Dogs may be returned to owner with some mud and slobbers or be wet from being rinsed off or playing in rain or snow. Dogs may get scratched or nicks from playing with the other dogs or not watching where they are going when playing.
Dogs must know basic obedience commands- sit, down, come when called, walk on a leash, leave it, and stay.
Must not be toy, food, leash or fence aggressive.
Must not be protective of people or other dogs
Each dog undergoes constant evaluations as to suitability to be part of the camp program. (Evaluation is good for 30 days, if not attending regularly)
Dogs must be in good physical health and free of any condition that could potentially jeopardize them or other campers.
Dogs must be over 3 months of age, and spayed/ neutered if over 7 months.
Owner must certify that dog has not harmed or shown any aggression for any reason towards other dogs, humans or other animals.
Some dogs outgrow the desire to attend camp and other dogs develop traits that make them unsafe in the camp environment.
If a dog is unsuitable for our camp program, we have other programs that may be more suitable. Our enrichment Day Care program is a great alternative.
A senior staff member will discuss good and problem behaviors and suggest options with owner as needed.
Classes currently offered are; Puppy Pre- School, AKC Puppy STAR, Basic Dog Skills, AKC Puppy STAR, Canine Good Citizen, and private l sessions with owner

Completed In-take form, contract, payment and proof of vaccinations are required prior to first class. These forms are available on our website.
Severely aggressive dogs are not permitted into group classes until evaluated by trainer, in private behavioral session(s) with owner, and deemed safe.
Owner should be prepared for each class, with sturdy shoes(no flip flops or sandals), jacket, long pants, pocket or treat bag and clean up bags
Bring treats and water for your dog and yourself.
