Closed for lunch every day from noon - 1 :00pm.
All out of hours services will be charged $50.00 per pet.
We are closed to the public on the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. We close at noon on Christmas Eve.
Rest assured, your pet is still receiving the same quality of care. Closing our front desk allows each of our staff to spend a few hours with their family and friends at some point during the holiday.
If you have an emergency, please call our customer service coordinator at (724) 840-2572 to arrange an emergency check-in or check-out. Please be aware that there is a $50.00 out-of-hours charge per pet.
Proof of current vaccinations is required before the pet enters the resort. Please e-mail, fax, or snail-mail veterinary records before arrival.
Please make reservations online from our website whenever possible and well before all major holidays and spring and summer vacation times. Online reservations allow us to spend more time with guests and avoid mistakes when transferring information into our computer system.
Please abide by the 10mph speed limit on Winterfield Road. The speed limit must be followed as children, pets, and other animals are in the area. Lack of respect for our neighbors may cause the denial of services.
Lodging charges include Day of Arrival and Day of Departure, no matter the time.
Minimum charge is for two (2) days.
Holiday periods: The Minimum charge is for three (3) days.
Please allow your pet time to settle into their vacation and enable them to start playing with their new friends by bringing them in earlier in the day (before 4:00 pm on arrival day)
Please allow us time on departure day (after 11:00 a.m.) to ensure they are clean and fresh-smelling.
If you request grooming services, we will call or text you when grooming services are completed.
What to bring:
Required: current vaccination certificates
Your pet should wear a properly fitted flat collar with a current license, be on a short leash, and remain under control.
Please bring your pet’s food to avoid digestive issues. (Only bring as much as needed, in individual zip-locked bags, no open bags.)
We will provide food if you forget or do not bring enough. Each meal costs $2.00.
Treats should be stored in a closed, labeled container if your pet receives them regularly. (No Rawhide)
Required medications must be in the original container with a veterinary prescription and directions.
What not to bring:
Blankets, beds, towels, or personal clothing items (each pet has a comfortable, raised bed that is easily cleaned and flea-free).
Large bags or large containers of food
Food dishes from home (we use sanitary, unbreakable stainless steel or disposable dishes)
Toys: We have many interesting washable toys and playground equipment to entertain our guests.
No harnesses or retractable leads.
No crates. Each pet has its own room with a comfy bed.
Miscellaneous bags, suitcases, etc. (We have limited storage space for belongings.)
48 Hour Cancellation Notice - If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please contact us at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled time.
Late Arrivals - If you arrive 15 minutes after your scheduled appointment, you will forfeit your appointment or, depending on the groomers’ schedule, your pet may be moved to the end of the day’s schedule.
All dogs must have current DHL-PP, Rabies, and Bordetella vaccination information on file before entering the resort for grooming or other services. (Cats must have rabies.)
A No Show, late Cancellation, or Late Arrival will require a non-refundable prepayment for grooming services before next appointment will be scheduled.
All pets will be treated with kindness, patience, and compassion in a clean, safe, and friendly environment. Matted pets may have more hair removed than expected. Our groomers will not subject pets to prolonged periods of painful de-matting.
Pets should be groomed at least every 4 to 8 weeks. Schedule their next grooming appointment when picking them up from each grooming session to maintain your pet's grooming schedule.
Dog Camp drop-off time is from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., and pick-up time is from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Reservations are required by at least noon the day before the requested camp session. Cancellations or no-shows with less than 24 hours' notice (by noon) in advance will be charged the full rate for the day.
All dogs must have current DHLPP, Rabies, and Bordetella certificates on file before entering the resort.
Camp dogs MUST be free of all internal and external parasites.
Dogs must be evaluated and have a current, completed, and approved application on file before participating in the camp program.
Dogs may be returned to their owners with mud and slobber, or they may be wet from being rinsed off or from playing in the rain or snow. Dogs can get scratched or nicked from playing with other dogs or not watching where they are going while playing.
Dogs must know basic obedience commands- sit, down, come when called, walk on a leash, leave it, and stay to participate in camp programs.
Dogs must refrain from jumping on people, pulling on the leash, or resisting walking on leash. Injuries to staff cannot be tolerated
Must not exhibit aggression toward dogs, toys, food, leashes, or fences.
Must not be protective of people or other dogs.
Every dog receives assessments to determine their eligibility for the camp program. (An evaluation remains valid for 30 days if attendance is irregular.)
Dogs must be physically healthy and free from any conditions that might endanger them or other campers.
Dogs must be at least 3 months old and spayed or neutered if they are over 7 months.
Owner must certify that the dog has not harmed or exhibited any aggression, for any reason, towards other dogs, humans, or other animals.
Some dogs lose the desire to attend camp, while others develop traits that can make them unsafe.
A senior staff member will discuss positive and problematic behaviors and suggest options to the owner as needed.
If a dog is inappropriate for our camp program, we offer other programs that may be a better fit. Our enrichment Day Care program serves as an excellent alternative.
