Dog Adventure Park

Connie Winters' Pet Resort has a wonderful new Dog adventure Park, available to our guests and the Indiana county community. The dog park has activities to entertain you and your dog and is a safe clean place for your dog to play and exercise in large securely fenced and tree shaded fields. There are two unleashed fields based on dog sizes. There is also a leashed yard and sitting area for dogs and pet parents for training and play on a leash. Features of the Dog Adventure Park

  • Double gated entry
  • Separate enclosed areas for small dogs and large dogs
  • Open 6 days a week (Closed on Mondays for maintenance and obedience classes)
  • Watering station located near parking lot
  • Restrooms available during normal pet resort business hours
  • Agility equipment, shade, tunnels, sand boxes and lots of room to run

Dog Adventure Park Rules

  • Any person entering the dog park acknowledges the risk and danger inherent within dog parks and assumes the risk or injury to themselves and their dog(s).
  • Owners are required to clean up after their dog waste disposal bags and cans are provided.
  • Gates must be securely closed and latched upon entering and exiting the dog park.
  • Dogs must be on leash outside of the unleashed parks.
  • Dogs must have identification, rabies tags and be parasite free
  • Must be 4 months of age or older
  • 7 months of age and over must be spayed/ neutered. No in heat females.
  • All required Vaccinations must be current
  • No choke, prong (pinch), spike collars are permitted, please remove them before entering the unleashed parks
  • Dogs must be accompanied at all times by a person 18 years or older
  • No children under 8yrs. are allowed in the park.
  • Children 8 and older are permitted if accompanied by an adult.
  • Avoid running, screaming and horseplay to avoid a negative response from a dog.
  • Aggressive dogs are not allowed in the dog park.
  • Dogs exhibiting aggressive behavior are to be IMMEDIATELY removed from the park.
  • Report all incidents of aggression or destruction.
  • CWPR reserves the right to prohibit any type or breed of dog from entering the park.
  • Only 2 dogs per handler per visit are permitted in the dog park at a time
  • Dog owners must be in park and have their dogs under voice control and within view at all times.
  • In case of emergency, call 911 and 412-289-2554 or 724-465-6120 or 724 840- 2572.
  • In the event of a dog bite or injury the owner/guardians must exchange current tag information and phone numbers and report incident to CWPR, immediately.
  • Disorderly conduct is prohibited.
  • NO SMOKING in the dog park or resort grounds.
  • You must fill any holes your dog digs.
  • Commercial activity is prohibited. This includes but not limited to: private instructors, personal training sessions, day care, camps, boot camps, fitness classes, dog training, the selling of goods and services and similar activities. Violations of this policy or anyone found on park or resort grounds after hours will be considered trespassing.
  • No food, glass, fireworks, weapons or alcohol permitted.

Health Requirements for Use of Dog Adventure Park

Proof of the following vaccinations by a veterinarian must be presented to PET RESORT before admittance.

  • DHLP-P
  • Rabies
  • Bordetella
  • CIV

All vaccinations should be given at least 10 days before admittance. We strongly suggest that your pet receive treatment for fleas and ticks prior to arrival.
